Linda Di Carlo founded Iyengar Yoga Source RI in 2005 and taught here until her passing in May 2025. Her commitment to this tradition shaped every teacher who came through this studio.
IYANE has established a scholarship in her name to support teachers pursuing certification.

The Program
A mentoring program for practitioners preparing for Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) Level 1 assessment through IYNAUS. You work directly with Kathleen Swanson (Level 3 CIYT) — teaching in live classes each week, studying the required knowledge you will be assessed on, and receiving written feedback on everything you submit.
Month One begins October 11, 2026. Enrollment is rolling — new mentees join on the second Sunday of any month and work through the full curriculum at their own pace. A digital curriculum manual is included upon enrollment.
What's Included
Monthly group session — second Sunday of each month, 12–2 pm, in person or livestream
Weekly teaching opportunity in a live class with written feedback
Monthly homework assignments with written feedback
Digital curriculum manual with everything you need to guide you through the process
Open access for questions to Kathleen between sessions
$110 per month as long as you are participating actively in the program.
Class attendance is billed separately via 10-pack or membership. Printed manual available for $60.
Who This Is For
Practitioners with a sustained Iyengar Yoga practice who want to teach it. You should be attending class regularly, committed to a home practice, and prepared to give consistent time to weekly teaching, monthly study, and regular homework over a minimum of 18–24 months.
