Our 2027 retreat takes place at La Locanda della Quercia Calante — a restored farmhouse tucked into the rolling hills of Castel Giorgio, in the green heart of Umbria. Surrounded by oak trees, open countryside, and quiet skies, it's a place to slow down, arrive fully, and let the landscape support your practice and rest. Just 18 kilometers from Orvieto, it offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to the beauty of the region.

We'll gather twice daily for Iyengar Yoga in a bright, dedicated yoga space complete with a rope wall. Between classes, there's time to rest, wander the gardens, or swim in the natural pond — fed by volcanic springs and set among boulders and rocky cascades. It's that kind of place.

Two optional excursions offer a taste of the history and culture of the surrounding region. Meals are prepared on site with local, seasonal ingredients — vegetarian-forward, unhurried, and made to be savored.

Guest rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed with natural materials, each with a private bath and outdoor space to sit and take in the surroundings. Single, double, and triple occupancy available.

This retreat is open to students with at least one year of Iyengar Yoga experience. Registration is open. We'd love to have you there.
