Ring in Your Practice

An Iyengar Yoga Weekend Intensive with Pranati Pratap
September 26–28, 2025 | In-Studio & Online

Discover clarity, direction, and depth in your yoga practice.

Join Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher Pranati Pratap for a weekend of exploration using simple props—especially the ring, a circular tool that offers direct feedback and support to evolve your understanding of asana and pranayama.

This workshop will guide you in using the ring to sharpen perception, support alignment, and connect movement with thoughtful action. Whether you're newer to the prop or revisiting it, this weekend will offer practical tools and personal insight.

The Ring is an excellent prop as it tells you about both the movement and the action simultaneously, and gives an added tactile sensitivity through yogic actions and thoughts.”
— Prashant Iyengar

About Pranati Pratap

Pranati has been a student of Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute for over forty years and studied with BKS and Geetaji Iyengar, and continues to study with Prashanji Iyengar.

She lived and taught in NJ and the tri-state area for 22 years and was one of the teachers at Studio Yoga for more than four years. In her workshops, she inspires students to learn from their own embodyment and explore their own self on the planes of body, mind, and breath.
